Stall warning system

A system that warns when the aircraft approaches an aerodynamic stall condition.

How the term is used
The system can use angle-of-attack, flap or slat position, speed, load factor and other inputs. Warnings may include stick shaker, aural, visual or flight-control cues.
Where you may encounter it
Technicians inspect sensors, heaters, wiring and warning devices and perform approved operational tests.
A successful built-in test does not replace required physical inspection or configuration checks.
