State whether a contribution is a general explanation, public-source research, personal experience or professional maintenance experience. Identify aircraft family, variant, engine and ATA context when they matter.
Do not present educational content as approved data
Never instruct someone to perform maintenance using TechOpsBase as the controlling source. Actual work requires current approved data, correct effectivity, authorized tooling and operator procedures.
Protect controlled and proprietary information
Do not upload or reproduce controlled manuals, internal airline documents, credentials, security-sensitive material, personal records or content you are not permitted to distribute.
Keep discussion respectful
No harassment, discrimination, impersonation, spam, job scams or pressure to reveal private employment details. Disagreement about technical subjects should focus on evidence and applicability.
Use collaboration tools responsibly
Purpose-based requests and private conversations require consent. Do not mass-message members, move discussions into unsafe channels or request company-controlled documents.
Moderation
Moderators may label, request clarification, restrict, archive or remove content and communication that violates these rules. Repeated or serious abuse may result in communication restrictions or account suspension.
