How the term is used
Part-66 defines licence categories, basic knowledge, examinations, experience, type-rating endorsement and privileges. A licence supports eligibility for certification but does not replace organization authorization.
Where you may encounter it
Technicians use Part-66 pathways when planning European licence conversion, modules, experience and type training.
Part-66 applies within the EASA system; course attendance or module passes alone do not grant certification privileges.
