How the term is used
Part-145 sets requirements for facilities, personnel, certifying staff, equipment, data, production planning, occurrence reporting, quality or compliance monitoring and release to service.
Where you may encounter it
Personnel must follow the organization MOE and authorization system in addition to holding any required licence.
Part-145 is specific to the EASA regulatory system; other authorities use different rules and approval names.
